Hey... It's getting close to spring. :)
I have so many things that I want to do this year.
*1. Bonnaroo is June 9th - 12th in Manchester, TN. This year, the line up includes such bands as Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, The Decemberists, Gogol Bordello, Florence and the Machine, Cold War Kids, Devotchka.... Basically, it will be amazing.
*2. I want to go sky-diving at some point this summer. I've been looking up information on it today. There's a place in Vivian that offers prices ranging from $170 to $230. Ouch.
3. Record a record that I love.
4. Use some different form of transportation than I am accustomed to. I want to hop on a bus this weekend. Or save up and fly or take a train ride.
*5. Be homeless for a couple of days. You know, sleep on a street or sleep outside in a sleeping bag. I think I'll drive to Arkansas and camp for a couple of nights and then just sleep somewhere for a night. Sounds good and exciting.
*Anyone is free to join. That is, as long as I know you or you're not a creeper, of course.
I'm so with you on 1 (how much is that costing?), 2, 3, 4 (can we take a train ride through northern Cali?), and maybe not so much on 5.
ReplyDelete$224.50 - $249.50 for General Admission 4-day tickets, which include camping and parking (unless you want to rent a tent or something). They also have a payment plan if you buy this Saturday (February 19), which allows you to pay $78.90 on Saturday, and then an additional $50 on March 1, April 5, May 3 and May 17 (total of $278.90). It's a little more expensive with the payment plan, but I can't fork out $300 bucks right now, and that way, at least your would have your tickets held for you (they will most likely be sold out by next Saturday). A greyhound would cost $164 each roundtrip if neither of our cars were working. It takes 10 hours to get there by car. I'm serious about it. Haha
